باغبان زور کلامم آ زمودمصرعے کارید و شمشیرے درود

The Gardener tried the power of my song,
he sowed my verse and reaped a sword.

باغبان (فطرت) نے میرے کلام کے زور کو آزمایا؛مصرع بویا اور شمشیر کاٹی (مصرع بویا تو وہ بڑھ کر شمشیر بن گیا)۔

This is couplet 4 of 94 in “⁨تمہید⁩” (Prologue), from Allama Muhammad Iqbal's Persian book Asrar-e-Khudi (⁨اسرارِ خودی⁩), published in 1915.
