ذرہ از خاک بیابان رخت بستتا شعاع فتاب رد بدست

The grain of sand set forth from the desert;
that it might win the radiance of the sun.

میرے ذرّے نے بیابان کی خاک سے رخت (سفر) باندھا؛تاکہ وہ آفتاب کی شعاع کو گرفت میں لے۔

This is couplet 53 of 94 in “⁨تمہید⁩” (Prologue), from Allama Muhammad Iqbal's Persian book Asrar-e-Khudi (⁨اسرارِ خودی⁩), published in 1915.
