صلح، شر گردد چو مقصود است غیرگر خدا باشد غرض جنگ است خیر
English translation
Peace becomes an evil, if its object be aught else; war is good if its object is God.

اگر مقصود غیر اللہ ہو تو صلح بھی شر بن جاتی ہے؛ اگر مقصود اللہ تعالے ہو تو جنگ بھی غیر ہو جاتی ہے۔
