کیا کہوں اپنے چمن سے میں جدا کیونکر ہوا
تو نے دیکھا ہے کبھی اے دیدہء عبرت کہ گلہو کے پیدا خاک سے رنگیں قبا کیونکر ہوا
English translation
O admonishing eye! Have you ever seen how the rose having been born out of dust became colorful?*
* In spite of the apparently lowly origin of Man from dust, he can attain high ranks as a reward for his noble deeds, just as a rose bush rising from dust produces beautiful rose flowers.
