گوشتابش دہ کہ گردد نغمہ خیزبر فلک از نالہ آرد رستخیز
English translation
Then twist the pegs that keep thy lute in tune, and hear its music mount into the skies in unrestrained and passionate lament.
Urdu translation
اس کے تار کس تاکہ ان سے نغمہ پیدا ہو؛ اور اس کا نالہ آسمان پر پہنچ کر محشر بپا کر دے۔

This is couplet 24 of 31 in “در معنی اینکہ یأس و حزن و خوف ام الحبا ئث است و قاطع حیات، و توحید ازالۂ این امراض خبیثہ می کند” (That Despair, Grief and Fear are the Mother of Abominations, destroying Life; end that Belief in Unity of God puts an end to those Foul Diseases) in the section The Pillars of Islam, from Allama Muhammad Iqbal's Persian book Rumuz-e-Bekhudi (رموزِ بیخودی), published in 1918.
