خلعتی از آب و گل پیدا کنددست و پا و چشم و دل پیدا کند
English translation
Creating out of water and of clay a garment it revealeth hand and foot, eye, yea, and heart.
Urdu translation
پھر وہ آب و گل سے اپنے لیے خلعت پیدا کرتا ہے اور ہاتھ پاؤں اور چشم و دل پیدا کرتا ہے۔

This is couplet 19 of 45 in “در معنی اینکہ حیات ملیہ مرکز محسوس میخواہد و مرکز ملت اسلامیہ بیت الحرام است” (That The Life Of The Community Requires A Visible Focus, And That The Focus Of The Islamic Community Is Makkah’s Sacred Home) in the section The Pillars of Islam, from Allama Muhammad Iqbal's Persian book Rumuz-e-Bekhudi (رموزِ بیخودی), published in 1918.
