English translation

The hearts of both the East and West of zeal and zest are quite bereft: One means the death of Self and soul, other decease of conscience whole.
A fervour great is in their hearts, they wait, when some convulsion starts; perhaps, this cosmos old and sear is in throes, its death quite near.

Translated by Syed Akbar Ali Shah
