آج اور کل
وہ کل کے غم و عیش پہ کچھ حق نہیں رکھتاجو آج خود افروز و جگر سوز نہیں ہےوہ قوم نہیں لائق ہنگامہ فرداجس قوم کی تقدیر میں امروز نہیں ہے
English translation
One who does not light and consume his heart, in future's joy or sorrow has no part.
That nation can not morrow's tumult face, which is destined to lose the present race.
