دل بے قید من در پیچ و تابیست
غلامم جز رضای تو نجویمجز آن راہی کہ فرمودی نپویمولیکن گر بہ این نادان بگوئیخری را اسب تازی گو نگویم
English translation
Thy slave I’m and seek thy pleasure alone,
I tread not a path not guided and shown.
If thou e’er bids this silly slave to say,
An ass a Berber horse I would not say.
