خودی کی خلوتوں میں گم رہا میں
خودی کی خلوتوں میں گم رہا میںخدا کے سامنے گویا نہ تھا میںنہ دیکھا آنکھ اٹھا کر جلوہ دوستقیامت میں تماشا بن گیا میں!
English translation
I was in the solitude of selfhood lost, and was, it seemed, unaware of the Presence.
I lifted not my eyes to see my Friend, and, on the Day of Judgment, shamed myself.
