کون لایا کھینچ کر پچھم سے باد سازگارخاک یہ کس کی ہے، کس کا ہے یہ نور آفتاب؟

Who drew here from the west the fruitful wind? Who made this soil or who that light of the sun?

کس نے بھردی موتیوں سے خوشہء گندم کی جیبموسموں کو کس نے سکھلائی ہے خوئے انقلاب؟

Who filled with pearls of grain the tasselled wheat? Who taught the months by instinct to revolve?

دہ خدایا! یہ زمیں تیری نہیں، تیری نہیںتیرے آبا کی نہیں، تیری نہیں، میری نہیں
