مثال پرتو مے، طوف جام کرتے ہیں
ہرے رہو وطن مازنی کے میدانو!جہاز پر سے تمھیں ہم سلام کرتے ہیں
English translation
May the meadows of the motherland* be ever flourishing; we are saluting you from the ship sailing away.
(This expresses Allamah Iqbal's patriotism at the time of his departure from India. *The word Maazni, however, has been translated differently by Maulana Ghulam Rasool Mehar as quoted above with Urdu translation.)
