مرا مسند پہ سو جانا بناوٹ تھی، تکلف تھاکہ غفلت دور سے شان صف آرایان لشکر سے
English translation
My sleeping in the couch was a mere show, an affectation; because stupor is foreign to the dignity of fighters.
