ہوس منزل لیلی نہ تو داری و نہ منجگر گرمی صحرا نہ تو داری و نہ من
English translation
Neither have I nor you the wish to go to Layla’s house. Neither have I nor you the heart to bear the desert heat.

لیلی (محبوب) کی منزل کی خواہش نہ تو رکھتا ہے نہ میں، گرمی صحرا برداشت کرنے کی ہمت نہ تو رکھتا ہے نہ میں۔
