سطوت از کوہ ستانند و بکاہی بخشند
عشق پامال خرد گشت و جہان دیگر شدبود آیا کہ مرا رخصت آہی بخشند
English translation
Love has been overthrown by reason, and the world is upside down. It may be that I shall be given freedom to wail over this.

عشق عقل کے ہاتھوں پامال ہو گیا اور جہان بدل گیا، ہو سکتا ہے کہ مجھے پھر آہ و فریاد کی اجازت مل جائے۔
