شو پنہاور و نیچہ
مرغی ز آشیانہ بہ سیر چمن پریدخاری ز شاخ گل بتن نازکش خلید
English translation
A bird flew from its nest and ranged about the garden; its soft breast was pierced by a rose-thorn.

ایک پرندہ آشیانے سے سیر چمن کے لیے اڑا ، (شاخ گل پر جا بیٹھا وہاں) سے ایک کانٹا اس کے نازک بدن میں چبھ گیا۔
