ہر کہ آب از زمزم ملت نخوردشعلہ ہای نغمہ در عودش فسرد
English translation
He who has not drunk the water of the People’s sacred well;
the flames of minstrelsy within his lute grow cold, and die.
Urdu translation
جب فرد ملّت کے چشمہ زمزم سے پانی نہیں پیتا اس کے ساز کے اندر نغموں کے شعلے افسردہ ہو جاتے ہیں۔
