در معنی اینکہ وطن اساس ملت نیست
این شجر جنت ز عالم بردہ استتلخی پیکار بار آوردہ است
English translation
This tree has banished heaven from the world; and borne for fruit the bitterness of war;
Urdu translation
وطنیت کے شجر نے دنیا سے جنت (امن و سکون) رخصت کر دیا ہے؛ اس درخت کا پھل جنگ کی تلخی کی صورت میں ظاہر ہوا ہے (دونوں عالمی جنگیں وطنیت کی بنا پر لڑی گئیں)۔
