خیزد بخاک تشنہ یی بادۂ زندگی فشان
خیز و بخاک تشنہ ئی بادۂ زندگی فشانآتش خود بلند کن آتش ما فرونشان
English translation
Rise! And upon the thirsty land sprinkle life’s wine with lavish hand; kindle anew the spirit’s fire, and bid the flame in us expire.

آئیے اور میری خاک تشنہ پر بادہ ء حیات (عشق) چھڑکیے ۔ اپنے عشق کی آگ بلند کیجیئے اور ہماری (نفسانی خواہشات کی) آگ بجھائیے۔
