English translation
Too oft was thy light with strangers to take wine, to suffer others’ light within the bowl to shine.

تو نے غیروں کی صحبت میں پے بہ پے جام لنڈھائے ، اور اپنے پیمانہ (ادراک ) کو دوسروں کی روشنی سے چمکانے کی کوشش کی۔
