بر دل بیتاب من ساقی می نابی زندکیمیا ساز است و اکسیری بسیمابی زند

The Saqi, pouring his pure wine upon my restless heart converts this quicksilver of mine to gold, by magic art.

ساقی نے میرے دل بیتاب پر (عشق کی) مئے ناب ڈالی ہے، وہ کیمیا ساز ہے، اس نے سیماب پر اکسیر ڈال کے اسے زر خالص بنا دیا ہے (دل بیتاب کو سیماب کہا ہے)۔
