خودی را دردمند امتحان ساختغم دیرینہ را عیش جوان ساخت
English translation
He made the ego subject to affliction: Thus turned the ancient grief into an ever-living joy.

(انسانی ) خودی کو (فراق کے) امتحان میں نہ ڈال کر دردمندی عطا کی۔ (اور اس طرح) اس کے غم کہنہ کو عیش جواں بنا دیا۔
