نہ ہو طغیان مشتاقی تو میں رہتا نہیں باقی
خزاں میں بھی کب آسکتا تھا میں صیاد کی زد میںمری غماز تھی شاخ نشیمن کی کم اوراقی
English translation
I, even in winter drear, fell not in hunter’s snare: My nest’s branches bare drew the hunter’s stare.
