ہے یاد مجھے نکتہ سلمان خوش آہنگدنیا نہیں مردان جفاکش کے لیے تنگ
English translation
From Salman*, singer sweet, this subtle point I know: That world is wide enough for those who courage show.
(*Iqbal’s note: Salman refers to Masud Sa‘ad Salman, the famous poet of the Ghaznavid era who was probably born in Lahore.)
