عارف ہندی کہ بہ یکی از غار ہای قمر خلوت گرفتہ و اہل ہند او را جہان دوست میگویند
چون عقاب افتد بہ صید ماہ و مہرگرم رو اندر طواف نہ سپہر
English translation
He swoops like an eagle on the moon and sun, his prey, hot-foot he circumambulates the nine spheres.
Urdu translation
یہ مہر و ماہ کے شکار کے لیے عقاب کی طرح جھپٹتا ہے؛ اور نو آسمانوں کے طواف میں سرگرم رہتا ہے۔

This is couplet 19 of 48 in “عارف ہندی کہ بہ یکی از غار ہای قمر خلوت گرفتہ و اہل ہند او را جہان دوست میگویند” (An Indian Ascetic, Known To The People Of India As Jahandost, Who Lives As A Hermit In One Of The Caverns Of The Moon) in the section The Sphere of the Moon, from Allama Muhammad Iqbal's Persian book Javid Nama (جاوید نامہ), published in 1932.
