روح ہندوستان نالہ و فریاد می کند
ظاھر او از غم دین دردمندباطنش چون دیریان زنار بند
English translation
Overtly they are passionate about every religion but covertly they are simply non-believers.
Urdu translation
ان کا ظاہر دین کے درد سے دردمند ہے مگر باطن بت پرستوں کی طرح زنّار بند ہے۔( غالبا اس دور کے نیشنلسٹ مسلمانوں کی طرف اشارہ ہے۔)
