روح ہندوستان نالہ و فریاد می کند
خویشتن را از خودی پرداختہاز رسوم کہنہ زندان ساختہ
English translation
They have surrendered their self-respect and ego; they have built a prison of rudundent customs around themselves.
Urdu translation
وہ اپنی خودی کو ترک کر چکے ہیں؛ انہوں نے اپنے گرد قدیم رسوم کا زندان بنا لیا ہے۔
