غزل زندہ رود
بہ آدمے نرسیدی، خدا چہ میجوئیز خود گریختہ ئی آشنا چہ می جوئی
English translation
You have not reached Man, so why do you seek God? You have fled from your self; why do you seek a friend?
Urdu translation
آدم کے مقام کو تو تو پا نہیں سکا اللہ تعالے کو کیا ڈھوندتا ہے؛ اپنے آپ سے تو دور ہے دوست کی تلاش کیسی؟
