فقر
چیست فقر اے بندگان آب و گلیک نگاہ راہ بین یک زندہ دل
English translation
O slaves of material things, what is Faqr? A penetrating insight and a living heart.
* Iqbal here recounts only two characteristics of an ideal man: his penetrating insight which refers to his psychological and intellectual accomplishments, and a living heart, which refers to his spiritual attainments.

اے مادی سامان کے غلاموں جانتے ہو فقر کیا ہے؟ ایک نگاہ جو صحیح راستہ دیکھ لے؛ اور ایک دل جو اللہ تعالے کی محبت سے زندہ ہو۔
