خطاب بہ مصطفی کمال پاشا
نکتۂ عشق فرو شست ز دل پیر حرمدر جھان خوار بہ اندازۂ تقصیر شدیم
English translation
The old man of the Harem wiped the imprint of Love from his heart, and we were humbled in the world in keeping with our sin’s degree.

(مگر بعد میں جب) پیر حرم نے اپنے دل سے عشق کو نکتہ دھو ڈالا (اس کا نتیجہ یہ ہوا کہ) ہم دنیا میں اپنی اس تقصیر کے مطابق خوار ہو گئے۔
