بہ متاع خود چہ نازی کہ بشہر دردمنداندل غزنوی نیرزد بہ تبسم ایازی

Why pride yourself on your riches? In the city of the lovesick Mahmud’s broken heart is not worth Ayaz’s smile.

اپنی متاع (پونجی) پر کیا ناز کرتا ہے، دردمندوں (اہل عشق) کے شہر میں ، غزنوی (جیسے پادشاہ) کا دل تبسم ایاز کی قیمت نہیں پاتا۔
