سطوت از کوہ ستانند و بکاہی بخشند
گاہ شاہی بہ جگر گوشۂ سلطان ندہندگاہ باشد کہ بزندانی چاہی بخشند
English translation
Sometimes kingship is not bestowed on the son of a king; sometimes it is bestowed upon a prisoner in a well.

کبھی سلطان کے بیٹے کو بھی پادشاہت نہیں دیتے، اور کبھی کوئیں میں گرے ہوئے شخص (یوسف علیہ) کو حکومت بخش دیتے ہیں۔
