خواجہ یی نیست کہ چون بندہ پرستارش نیست
نغمۂ عافیت از بربط من می طلبیاز کجا بر کشم آن نغمہ کہ در تارش نیست

You want a melody of peace played on my lute. How am I to extract from it a tone that is not in its strings?

میرے بربط (ساز ) سے عافیت کا نغمہ طلب کرتا ہے، میں کہاں سے وہ نغمہ پیدا کروں جو اس کے تار میں نہیں۔
