خاکیم و تند سیر مثال ستارہ ایم
در عشق غنچہ ایم کہ لرزد ز باد صبحدر کار زندگی صفت سنگ خارہ ایم
English translation
In love we are buds shaking in the morning breeze; but in the business of life we are quite as hard as granite.

عشق کے معاملہ میں ہم اس غنچہ کی مانند ہیں جو صبح کی ہوا سے لرز جاتا ہے، لیکن زندگی کے مقابلہ میں ہم چٹان کی مانند (مضبوط) ہیں۔
