سر خوش از بادۂ تو خم شکنی نیست کہ نیست
گرچہ لعل تو خموش است ولی چشم ترابا دل خون شدۂ ما سخنی نیست کہ نیست
English translation
Your lips are silent, but your eyes are not. O there is not a thing that they do not say to my bleeding heart.

اگرچہ آپ (صلعم) کے لب لعلیں خاموش ہیں مگر ، کوئی ایسی بات نہیں جو آپ (صلعم) کی چشم (مست ) ہمارے دل خوں شدہ سے نہ کرتی ہو۔
