شو پنہاور و نیچہ
داغی ز خون بی گنہی لالہ را شمرداندر طلسم غنچہ فریب بہار دید
English translation
It thought the tulip was branded with the blood of innocents; in the closed bud it saw the guile of spring.

اس نے داغ لالہ کو بے گناہ کے خون کا داغ تصوّر کیا، اسے غنچہ کے طلسم میں فریب بہار نظر آیا۔
