ساقیا بر جگرم شعلۂ نمناک انداز
میتوان ریخت در آغوش خزان لالہ و گلخیز و بر شاخ کہن خون رگ تاک انداز

Roses and anemones scatter at the autumn breeze; yet within our ancient bough set the new sap rising now!

خزاں میں بھی بہار لالہ و گل لائی جا سکتی ہے؛ ہماری شاخ کہن پر انگور کا خون ڈال کر اسے سرسبز کر دیجیے (انگور کو بارآور کرنے کے لیے اس کی جڑوں میں خون ڈالا جاتا ہے)۔
