زہر نقشی کہ دل از دیدہ گیرد پاک می آیم
گہی پیچد جہان بر من گہی من بر جہان پیچمبگردان بادہ تا بیرون ازین پیچاک میآیم

Anon I wrap me in the world, anon about me ‘tis enfurled; pass round the wine, and pass again, that I may break this tangled skein.\

کبھی جہان مجھے اپنی لپیٹ میں لے لیتا ہے اور کبھی میں جہان کو اپنی لپیٹ میں لے لیتا ہوں؛ آپ جام آگے بڑھائیں تاکہ میں اس کشمکش سے باہر نکلوں۔
