چند بروی خودکشی پردۂ صبح و شام را
سوز و گداز حالتی است بادہ ز من طلب کنیپیش تو گر بیان کنم مستی این مقام را
English translation
O glad consuming! Rapture fine! Thyself wouldst beg of me for wine if unto thee I did relate the intoxication of my state.

سوز و گداز ایسی حالت ہے کہ اگر آپ کے سامنے اس مقام کی مستی کا حال بیان کروں ؛ تو آپ بھی مجھے سے اس بادہ کے طلبگار ہوں۔
