علمی کہ تو آموزی مشتاق نگاہی نیست
آدم کہ ضمیر او نقش دو جہان ریزدبا لذت آہی ہست بی لذت آہی نیست

He, whose all-embracing brain a new universe doth plan burneth still with passion’s fire, never lacketh high desire.

آدم جس کا ضمیر دونوں جہان کی تزئین کرتا ہے، اس کا وجود لذت عشق سے ہے، لذت عشق کے بغیر وہ کچھ بھی نہیں۔
