گذر از آنکہ ندیدست و جز خبر ندہد
تجلئی کہ برو پیر دیر می نازدہزار شب دہد و تاب یک سحر ندہد
English translation
The gleam that hoary acolyte so prides himself upon reveals a thousand shades of night, but never glow of dawn.

جس تجلی پر پیر و دیر کو اتنا ناز ہے؛ وہ ہزار ہا شب تو پیدا کرتی ہے مگر ایک صبح نہیں لا سکتی۔
