تمہید
ز جان خاور آن سوز کہن رفتدمش واماند و جان او ز تن رفت
English translation
The old ardour has disappeared from the life of the East; its breath wavered and soul left its body;

مشرق کے اندر وہ سوز کہن نہیں رہا ، سانس موجود ہے ، مگر تن سے اس کی جان نکل چکی ہے۔
