حکایت طایری کہ از تشنگی بیتاب بود
مرغ مضطر زیر شاخ گل رسیددر دہانش قطرہ ی شبنم چکید
English translation
The sorely distressed bird hopped under the rose-bush; the dewdrop trickled into his mouth.

Urdu translation
بے قرار پرندہ پھول کی شاخ کے نیچے پہنچا (اس قطرے کی طرف دیکھا ) تو شبنم کا قطرہ اس کے منہ میں ٹپک پڑا۔
