نہ تا سخن از عارف ہندی
صحبت گل دانہ را سازد درختآدمی از صحبت گل تیرہ بختدانہ از گل مے پذیرد پیچ و تابتا کند صید شعاع آفتاب
English translation
Association with the mire makes the seed a tree; man by association with the mire is brought to shame.
The seed receives from the mire twisting and turning that it may make its prey the rays of the sun.
Urdu translation
مٹی کی صحبت دانہ کو درخت بنا دیتی ہے؛ لیکن آدمی مٹی کی صحبت سے سیاہ بخت ہو جاتا ہے۔دانہ مٹی کے اندر پیچ و تاب کھاتا ہوا (زمین سے باہر نکل آتا) ہے؛ تاکہ آفتاب کی شعاع کو شکار کر سکے۔
