طاسین زرتشت آزمایش کردن اہرمن زرتشت را
نقش بیرنگی کہ او را کس ندیدجز بخون اھرمن نتوان کشید
English translation
The colourless picture, which no man has ever seen, cannot be painted save with the blood of Ahriman.
Urdu translation
وہ بے رنگ نقش ہے کسی نے نہیں دیکھا؛ اہرمن کے خون ہی سے بنایا جا سکتا ہے۔
About this couplet
This is couplet 16 of 29 in “طاسین زرتشت آزمایش کردن اہرمن زرتشت را” (TASIN OF ZOROASTER: Ahriman Tempts Zoroaster) in the section The Sphere of the Moon, from Allama Muhammad Iqbal's Persian book Javid Nama (جاوید نامہ), published in 1932.
