اضطراب شعلہ بخشد دود راسوز و مستی میدہد داود را
English translation
It imparts to smoke the quivering of the flame, bestows on David ardour and intoxication;
Urdu translation
اس نے دھوئیں کو شعلے کا اضطراب عطا کیا وہ ایسی قرآت تھی جو داؤد (علیہ) کو بھی سوز و مستی عطا کر دے۔

This is couplet 27 of 38 in “زیارت ارواح جمال الدین افغانی و سعید حلیم پاشا” (The Sphere Of Mercury: Visitation to the spirits of Jamal al-Din Afghani and Sa‘id Halim Pasha) in the section The Sphere of Mecury, from Allama Muhammad Iqbal's Persian book Javid Nama (جاوید نامہ), published in 1932.
