دین و وطن
پر کہ از خاک و برخیزد ز خاکحیف اگر در خاک میرد جان پاک
English translation
A grass-blade is of the earth, and yet rises from the earth; alas, if the pure soul should die in the dust!
Urdu translation
پر کاہ جو خاک سے ہے وہ بھی خاک سے اوپر اٹھتا ہے ؛ افسوس ہے اگر جان پاک خاک ہی میں مر جائے۔
