غزل زندہ رود
معنی تازہ کہ جوئیم و نیابیم کجاستمسجد و مکتب و میخانہ عقیم اند ہمہ
English translation
Where is the new truth which we seek, and do not find? Mosque, school and tavern, all alike are barren.
Urdu translation
نئے معنی جو ہم ڈھونڈتے اور نہیں پاتے؛ کہاں ہیں؟ مسجد ہو یا مکتب یا میخانہ سب بانجھ پڑے ہیں۔
