رواح رذیلہ کہ با ملک و ملت غداری کردہ و دوزح ایشان را قبول نکردہ
نا قبول و ناامید و نامرادملتے از کارشان اندر فساد
English translation
Unaccepted, despairing, undesired, a nation ruined by their handiwork.
Urdu translation
یہ دونوں مردود، نا امید اور نا کام رہے؛ مگر ان کی غداری سے پوری قوم فساد کی نظر ہو گئی۔
About this couplet
This is couplet 12 of 17 in “رواح رذیلہ کہ با ملک و ملت غداری کردہ و دوزح ایشان را قبول نکردہ” (The Sphere Of Saturn: The vile spirits which have betrayed the nation and have been rejected by Hell) in the section The Sphere of Saturn, from Allama Muhammad Iqbal's Persian book Javid Nama (جاوید نامہ), published in 1932.
