رواح رذیلہ کہ با ملک و ملت غداری کردہ و دوزح ایشان را قبول نکردہ
می ندانے خطۂ ہندوستانآن عزیز خاطر صاحبدلان
English translation
Do you not know that the land of India, dear to the heart of every sensitive soul,
Urdu translation
کیا تو نہیں جانتا کہ خطّہء ہند میں جو صاحب دلوں کا محبوب ہے۔
About this couplet
This is couplet 14 of 17 in “رواح رذیلہ کہ با ملک و ملت غداری کردہ و دوزح ایشان را قبول نکردہ” (The Sphere Of Saturn: The vile spirits which have betrayed the nation and have been rejected by Hell) in the section The Sphere of Saturn, from Allama Muhammad Iqbal's Persian book Javid Nama (جاوید نامہ), published in 1932.
